Children regularly play out in this development. Cars and delivery drivers fly up the road at speeds of 30mph + and children are at risk of being hit Signs stating children playing Enforcing 5mph Slow down etc must be inforced for the safety of the children and residents

  • Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. Requests for speed limit changes/traffic calming will be reviewed and prioritised accordingly against all other requests across the county. We do not alter speed limits based on the perception of an issue. Requests will be reviewed based on a number of factors including collision history and independent traffic volume and speed counts over a 7 day, 24 hour period, along with meeting suitability with DfT guidance and prioritised accordingly. Should the request meet all the criteria it may be added to the Capital Works Programme for future years.
