Roundabout of Saxon Drive, Foxglove Drive and Moonflower Place
Reported via desktop in the Obstructing visibility, footway, road, or sign category anonymously at 15:18, Monday 8 September 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 427368.
Shrubbery on roundabout in acutely blocking any view of Southbound oncoming traffic on Saxon Drive. Traffic is at up to 40mph on this unprotected pedestrian crossing making crossing very hazardous. I have personally had several near misses with a pushchair as oncoming traffic in already accelerating off the roundabout before they have any visual of pedestrians crossing and vice versa. The shrub nearest to Moonflower Place on the far east of the roundabout needs completely removing and something much lower and less dense such as wildflower or grass to be planted if anything.
