Drains outside number 4-2

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 427575.

Drains down Orchard Close repeatedly blocked by leaves from Stratton Schools over hanging trees. Have reported numerous times however problem still persists. Road becomes partly flooded during rainfall.

    We plan to inspect the site during the next instance of significant rainfall, to allow a full assessment of the issue before any decision is made.

    Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low-lying area, this generally clears away over a matter of hours.
