Sign broken in bushes

Reported via mobile in the Signs category anonymously at 08:06, Fri 26 September 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 428092.

It's a shame it was not fixed in the 12 week period when it was first reported last year. Just to remind you. That without thus sign driver not from this area travelling southbound will not know that there is a hidden road on the left and therefore there will be a accident sooner rather then later because of this missing sign . Perhaps a round about should be installed a thus junction after someone has died at this scene

Dear Susan Goodchild,

I would like to point out that I reported to the council concerning a hazard , motor accident risk at a junction, where the sign for the junction has been damaged and fallen into the bushes at the side of the road, where it can no longer be seen by drivers heading south on the a5 between the round about with the a505 and the turning at Chalk Hill, on the left because this turning is hidden from the main road any traffic going in or out of this turning are at risk of an accident all the time, as there is no sight of the sign. vehicles not from this area will not know of the approaching hidden road, my problem is that this was reported over a year ago to the council . They anouched it was to be fix withing 12 weeks from last year The case was then closed, I reported it again this year 18th September again will be fix withing 12 weeks. Case closed .when an accident happens and someone dies perhaps they will put a roundabout at the junction and proper signage, instead of the sign laying in the bushes please help before a accident happens, R L Williams the White house chalk hill dunstable lu6v1rt

Yours sincerely,

To mp Susan
