One side of Glebe Avenue about 4 sights

Reported via mobile in the Obstructing visibility, footway, road, or sign category anonymously at 16:09, Friday 26 September 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 428128.

Overhanging hedges protruding over the public pavement narrowing the walkway considerably. When cars and vans are parked it is even harder to walk by, making the walkway even more restricted, it is more difficult to walk along here particularly in the dark and icy conditions.

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

  • As all these hedges are private, CBC Highways will need to issue a letter to each of the landowners/properties to request that they are cut back as they are encroaching onto the footway.

    Many thanks
