The drain bottom of old church path is blocked and the ditch outside 124 high street is full of silt so water can't flow away

    We plan to inspect the site during the next instance of significant rainfall, to allow a full assessment of the issue before any decision is made.

    Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low-lying area, this generally clears away over a matter of hours.
