Aspley Guise Station level crossing - at the stop line heading south into the village

Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category by Katharine Sorensen at 10:28, Fri 3 October 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 428371.

Straddling both the marked footpath and the road the asphalt has been bulging and fragmenting for at least 6 months on the exact site of a previously (poorly) repaired pothole. It is now at the stage of producing chunky rubble which is a skid/trip hazard for pedestrians and collecting water in wet weather which hastens it's development.
