Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 428772.

Watermain burst and subsequent closure for a week on Ampthill Road Maulden, caused traffic to use George Street as a way around the closure. My house, 5 George Street is served by a very narrow road ,two cars passing is not easy. Consequently the increased traffic using the road, including large vans, lorries and even an articulated lorry with trailer, have dislodged several granite sets that form rhe kirb. The damage will only spread as a domino effect will occur. I don't know if Anglian Water can be held responsible, but I would appreciate you looking into this. Many thanks.,Julie Lockwood.
