  • Update on your report:

After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair.

Inspected on 04/11/25 - there are small straggly bits that are sticking out but visibility from the edge of the junction does not appear too bad at this stage. In addition, the hedges themselves are not CBC owned - they are former land boundary vegetation pre-development. They would now be under the ownership of the developer as the grassland here isn't adopted by CBC. They would need contacting directly to report any vegetation issues from this land.

With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council - Highways
