Outside 75 Ridgeway

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 429655.

The street light outside my house is not working. This has been reported by me 4 times and I know that other neighbours have also reported this. The stretch of path outside our house is particularly dark and this is causing a health and safety concern evident by me nearly falling over. It is unacceptable that this has not been processed and that one report was concluded as repaired when clearly has not been.

  • Thank you for contacting Central Bedfordshire Council. An engineer attended Lamp Column No 10 and Replaced the Light Fitting and Control Gear 18/09/2025. We raised a new works order on the 31/10/2025 to have the column reinspected. This should be carried out within 10 working days of this date.
