Junction of Millards Close and Windmill Road

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 431260.
Since forever pulling out of Millards Close on to Windmill Road has been a gamble since you cannot always see the traffic coming from the right or sometimes from the left.
You could sometimes see movement above the line of parked cars on the right hand side of Windmill when looking from Millards. Sometimes through the windscreens of the parked cars or reflections in the windows of the houses on the left hand side when looking from Millards.. Lights make it a little more obvious at night but not definitive.
There are more cars on the road and many of the cars are bigger since they are now SUVs.
Since there is an increase in the numbers of houses in the area. New developments around the leisure centre, the new care home even the crematorium, Centre Parcs, Universal Studios and the inevitable development at Stepingley Fields (the Council won't object!) means that there will be many, many more cars down what is effectively a single track road.
This will mean more conflict as cars meet half way, more driving on the pavements, more speeding as drivers try to make it down the road to get out of the way, more incidents with collisions with parked cars unresolved as they will be hit-and-run and potential tragedies if pedestrians step out from parked cars.
Could I request a large mirror on either the lamppost or telegraph pole across from Millards Close to see more down the road.
It would also be useful to work out a system to highlight passing places amidst the parked cars on Windmill. Not limiting parking just highlighting gaps where a car can pull in when travelling from the Chapel Road end towards Millards to allow for the right of way of cars coming from Steppingley Road. Red/green lights above the parked cars?
I look forward to your reply.
