Footpath off London Drive towards Coniston Rd

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 431651.

Street lights 40, 41,42 and 43 are not working on this stretch so the whole path is pitch black. These were working fine until City Fibre dug it up. Please can these be repaired asap ad this was reported before and it hasn’t been fixed

  • Another resident has called regarding this report asking for updates as when the lights are going to be fixed.

    Resident advised that because these 4 lights are not working it is very dark during the night and dangerous for residents.

  • Update on your report:

    We have attended the site and have carried out a full assessment of the lighting column.
    Repair works are required but it is more efficient to package works together and schedule them in by area. This means that in some cases the work will not be completed for up to 90 working days and we apologise for this.
