A6 Bedfordshire, approaching junction with Loughton Conquest from North & South
Reported via iOS in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 22:16, Thu 11 December 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 431772.
There are large potholes and road subsidence on the A6 on both the north and south approaches to the turning into Houghton Conquest close to Wilstead. These have been present for several months and are getting progressively worse. I have hit these potholes a number of times, most recently today and the whole car shook violently. It is only a matter of time before these potholes cause a punctures, wheel/suspension damage ,to multiple vehicles or worst still a fatal accident.
