Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 13:31, Wed 17 December 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 432019.
My car hit road failure approximately 7.20 pm Sunday night , it’s to large an area to call it a pothole. I was taking my son to Luton airport it was dark and unavoidable. I have spoken to national highways who say they are not responsible for that area. I also sent a claim to Bedford council Monday, who have just informed me they are also not responsible and that area of road is Central Bedford responsibility. Please send me a claim form for the damage. I feel the road is so bad a motorcycle rider would come off if they hit the area in the dark. The road needs to be closed. My email address is sbsbedford@aol.com

My car has been off the road since Sunday evening. The wheel repair garage heated the wheel to get the shape back, today my car is mobile again. Great wheel repair service in Silsoe if you are reading this and have also damaged your wheel at this horrendous location. Mint Alloys Silsoe
