Bunyan road, Sampshill Road - surface collapse
Reported via iOS in the Road Surface category anonymously at 16:00, Friday 9 January 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 432913.
Reporting for what must be the 5th time. Road surface is failing and collapsing. Extremely dangerous as it’s now holding water and making exiting Bunyan Road dangerous as the water is freezing and causing traction issues. Cars are having to cut the corner dangerously as drivers try to avoid the worst part of the road however it now crosses the whole junction. The rest of Bunyan Road is also in a state as it is littered with potholes along its full length. When avoiding pot holes to prevent damages to your own car you are at risk if collision with vehicles entering from Spensley Road as you have to use the wrong side of the road to not damage your car.
