Slip road by houses between 254 and 256 High Street North.

Reported via mobile in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 11:16, Saturday 10 January 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 432962.

Evergreen trees branches hang over the drains. When the leaves drop, it falls over the drains and the drains get blocked (as well as rubbish that constantly gets dropped by people at bus stop - beer cans, food packaging etc). Every few weeks, it has to be swept over so our road doesn't get flooded. It's mainly 254 (my house) that gets affected. What would be beneficial is if a road sweeper was scheduled regularly to drive and collect rubbish/fallen leaves so it doesn't get blocked. Someone shoukd take a look at see the different rubbish that is dumped.
