Junction between Queens and Dukes road Ampthill
Reported via desktop in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 17:16, Saturday 10 January 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 432988.
Cars parked in the junction and at the top of dukes road. Too narrow for rescue services, vans, local buses to drive through. Low visibility making it unsafe especially during school pick up/drop off times. Difficult for nursery customers and residents to maneuver in their driveways. Condition is getting worse as cars are becoming bigger over the years. Double yellow line required.

Subject: RE: Customer Service Action HELPDESK Recorded on Request 432988Good afternoon,
Thank you for your email.
I have forwarded your email onto the Civil Enforcement Team to make them aware of vehicles parking on the restrictions in Queens Road, opposite Dukes Road, Ampthill, and I have requested for officers to patrol this location as and when in the area.
The motorist is requesting for double yellow lines to be painted in Dukes Street. Has this been assessed.
Kind regards
