Adjacent to kings farm - Limbersey Lane

Reported via desktop in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 17:28, Monday 12 January 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 433157.

I hit this hidden pothole (under water) on the evening of 09th Jan 2026 at 19.00hrs - immediately burst the passenger front side tyre and had to have the car towed. Subsequently I have been notified by Mercedes that not only do I need a new tyre but that alloy is cracked and buckled and also has to be replaced.

Cost of damage to car £1250 plus further £100 for towing fee.

Pothole has now been poorly repaired (see attached photographs) and the site of the pothole / dip is constantly wet due to a water leak in the road.

Already there is degrading evident of the temp repaired road surface (12th Jan 2026) and it will not be long before this issue re-occurs to some other unfortunate road user.
