Flitwick road ampthill twin gully near Holland road towards Flitwick
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 433427.
The twin gully is where there is a central reservation to allow pedestrians to cross has been blocked with soil , leaves and other debris for at least 6 months. With the gullys being blocked, pedestrians are being splashed with surface water when vehicles pass . I noticed a report was made in 2023 about the same gullys. Please can confirm what action is being taken to remedy the issue.

Update on your report:
We plan to inspect the site during the next instance of significant rainfall, to allow a full assessment of the issue before any decision is made.
Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low-lying area, this generally clears away over a matter of hours.
