This potehole relates to Council reference 432731 which has not been fixed

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 433448.

This pothole was reported on 7th January 2026 and it has not been fixed. Driving home tonight (Thursday 15th January 2026 at circa 18:00) in dark rainy unlit conditions, I happened to go down this pothole, bursting my nearside front tyre which I could not re-inflate, with such a loud bang that it is likely that this pothole has broken the rim of my wheel and damaged the suspension on my BMW through Council negligence. This left my car undriveable and needing to be recovered to a local garage at an excess recovery cost of £32 from when I have had to walk home. I shall be claiming for this damage from my Council based on this report.
