Wilstead road going uphill on the dual carriage way right hand lane

Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 21:10, Thursday 15 January 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 433457.

Once again I’m reporting another pot hole on the A6 this is once that has recently been “repaired” and has already opened back up. This particular pothole has already pop my tyre and cracked my alloy before it was repaired and now it’s already back. Extremely hazardous due to the road being national speed limit and you only see it at the last second which is to late. I’m not sure what cheap compound is being used for these repairs but they don’t last. This has been here for about 2 weeks at least. I urge you to repair this hazard as soon as possible. I will not suffer another expense to myself for an alloy and tyre.
