Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8706297.

Footpath is non existent. The farmer has ploughed through the field and left no path whatsoever. It is completely impassable (unless you have a tractor). This is not the first year this has happened

Updates

  • Thank you for your report. We will contact the farmer. At this time of year, all that is required are lines across the field to show the path's route and width. Some farmers prefer to wait for the right conditions to spray the path out across the field which then keeps it clear throughout the growing season. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ ukpga/ 1990/ 24
