Large, deep pothole in nearside running lane – previously marked but not adequately repaired
There is a large and deep pothole in the nearside running lane on the A507 Flitwick Bypass, westbound towards Flitwick from the Clophill direction.
The defect has been marked with yellow spray paint, indicating it has already been inspected or identified, however it remains unrepaired or inadequately repaired. The pothole has sharp edges and poses a significant hazard to vehicles.
This stretch of road has no street lighting, making the defect difficult to see and unsafe, particularly at normal traffic speeds.
The defect is located adjacent to the edge line and is not safely avoidable.
