Blocked drain causing mud and water to flood over driveways. This issue has been present for sometime but now much worse.

We plan to inspect the site during the next instance of significant rainfall, to allow a full assessment of the issue before any decision is made.
Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low-lying area, this generally clears away over a matter of hours.

After inspecting the reported issue, I can confirm that an order has been raised for this defect to be repaired, which we anticipate will be carried out within the next 12 weeks, subject to weather conditions and emergencies.

We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels.
