Approach to Pedestrian crossing on Park Road North, adjacent to Brookfield Avenue
Reported via Android in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 15:21, Tuesday 27 January 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 434662.
"Keep Clear" Road markings are almost completely worn away at Brookfield Avenue junction with Park Road North. The markings remind users of Park Road North to leave space for road users of Brookfield Avenue to exit and turn right towards the Chequers Roundabout.
Likewise, at Woodlands Avenue, Houghton Regis, just a few yards away, towards the Chequers Roundabout.

Update on your report:
After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.
With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies
