Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 434965.

Tree to the left hand side of driveway of number 2 (opposite number 8). Roots are damaging private driveway. Tree is on council land.

  • In instances of root trespass into a property, the landowner is entitled to prune roots back to their boundary line. If substantiated damage has been done to your property, contact our Insurance team for compensation. Please note it will have to be thoroughly evidenced that the primary cause was the roots, and the roots are definitely from a Council owned tree.
