The pothole is located on the Road South of Runway, a few yards before the turning for Stiltitters Farm Rd (heading Eastbound).

Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category anonymously at 12:49, Monday 16 February 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council 22 minutes later. Council ref: 436836.

Dimensions: * Length: Approximately 850mm. Width: Approximately 450mm at its widest point. Depth: The depth consistently exceeds 50mm-60mm, which is significantly above the standard 40mm intervention level. Physical Characteristics: * The pothole has severe, sharp vertical edges capable of causing immediate structural damage to tyres and rims. The top asphalt layer has completely eroded, exposing the concrete sub-base. The defect is located dangerously close to a drainage grate, forcing drivers to either hit the hazard or swerve into the opposite lane. Hazard Level: When it rains, the pothole fills with water, masking its extreme depth and making it an invisible trap for road users.
