Road across The Green leading to 30, 30a, Willow Farm and 32 The Green

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 436907.

This road has been deteriorating badly over the past 6 years. At no30 there are four cars using this road daily plus visitors for a business. At no.32 there are three cars, a school mini bus, numerous delivery vans making multiple journeys daily. At Willow Farm there are two cars making daily journeys. At 30a there is one car making occasional journeys plus occasional visitors. The road surface has been totally eroded causing potholes making it dangerous to walk on and drive on.

    After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.

  • The service road providing access to these properties is an Easement across The Green, and does not form part of the public highway. As ownership of the land sits with Sandy Town Council, they will be best placed to advise further.
