Reported via iOS in the Surface water on Highway category by Brandon Burnett at 14:09, Tuesday 17 February 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 437000.
When it rains there is a large build up of water that cannot go anywhere as there is no drainage. This has been like this for over a year since the road was tarmaced. The camber in the road is clearly visible.

Update on your report:
We plan to inspect the site during the next instance of significant rainfall, to allow a full assessment of the issue before any decision is made.
Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low-lying area, this generally clears away over a matter of hours.
Many thanks,
