A6 Wilstead hill with dual carriage way on one side up the hill

Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 20:01, Wednesday 25 February 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 437737.

These potholes on both sides of the road from the speed camera at the top of the hill all they way past chapel end road are a RISK TO LIFE. Cars are avoiding it by going on the other side of the road. I previously had a blow out from hitting it last time. It’s a national speed limit road and motorbikes present are increasing as the weather improves. There will be fatalities because of the poor condition of this road, and the fact nothing has been done about this within at least 6 weeks is shameful. This needs to be repaired immediately without delay.
