Inner kerb line between concrete and tarmac
Reported via mobile in the Road Surface category anonymously at 09:03, Friday 27 February 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council 3 hours, 5 minutes later. Council ref: 437858.
The kerbs that have been used to create an inner circle around the roundabout which divides the concrete road surface and the tarmac road surface have broken into pieces. When following vehicles and they cross over them they are moving and flipping up in the air causing potential damage to the underside of cars.
They are kerbs but they are supposed to be flush with the road surface

After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.
With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies
