Pothole created around manhole cover. Fills with water and hides the pothole, which can cause accidents for pedestrians and cylists

    After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during our routine safety inspections and or weekly inspections carried out by our other officers, we will carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.

    With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies
