By the bus stop just past the speed camera on High Street Westoning Beds

Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 17:58, Saturday 7 March 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 438400.

This appears to be a problem which you are aware of. Yet nothing has been done. Last night it was pouring with rain and extremely dark when my car came into contact with the pothole splitting my tyre. A local resident was kind enough to let me leave my car overnight on their driveway as it was undriveable. The AA recovered it this morning and took it to a tyre garage. This could have been avoided had some responsibility been taken or at the very least provided some kind of barrier or lightening. This has cost £96 to be repaired, but the depth of this pothole is endangering lives of motorists, pedestrians and cyclists and it is irresponsible for it to have been left so long without repair or warnings when it has been previously reported by others.
