Drain on the corner of London Road and West Road
Reported via desktop in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 12:12, Friday 13 March 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 11078.
Very large and deep puddle develops during rain fall. This then drenches any pedestrians who are walking on the pavement if vehicles turn the corner. You can refer to the photos I sent in last year as the issue is exactly the same. The drain need to be cleaned out.

Update on your report:
After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.
With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies
Many thanks,
