Rubbish on road
Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category anonymously at 10:40, Sunday 22 March 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 11312.
Ore material pulled from site that needs sweeping up. Or you need to get the land owner depositing material from site on the highway as this is illegal under the highway act and planning should enforce the wheel cleaning system or better road surface to stop material on the highway. If the street cleaning crew won’t and near have swept it up then make the land owener do it daily.

Update on your report:
After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.
With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies
Many thanks,
