Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 11432.
I would like to report a safety concern regarding vehicles being parked around the corners and along the road, particularly at the junction of Parkside Drive and Maple Way.
On a recent occasion, this nearly resulted in a serious accident as I was turning onto the main road from Parkside Drive. Due to cars being parked on the corner and along the main road, my view was significantly restricted. Both myself and an oncoming driver had to brake suddenly to avoid a collision.
This situation poses a significant risk to road users. I kindly request that double yellow lines be installed at this junction to prevent parking in these areas and improve visibility and safety.
Please see the attached photos for reference.
