I am writing to raise a concern regarding the lack of appropriate facilities in the park located near SG18 8UR, Biggleswade.

Currently, there are no shaded areas and insufficient picnic benches or seating available. This significantly limits the usability of the park, particularly during warmer and sunny weather.

The absence of shade presents a health and safety concern, especially for families with babies, young children, and children with additional needs. These groups are more vulnerable to heat and require suitable shaded areas and seating to safely access and enjoy public spaces.

As a local resident, I would kindly request that this matter be reviewed and that consideration is given to installing additional picnic benches and shaded areas within the park.

This issue has been present for a considerable period of time and would greatly benefit from improvement.
