Exiting Woburn Road onto old A421 that passes Brogborough Lakes
Reported via iOS in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 10:18, Saturday 18 April 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 12427.
On Thursday 16th April I was exiting Marston Moretaine via Woburn Road joining the old A421 road that proceeds past Thrupp Lane and Brogborough Lakes to collect a student from Ridgemont (I am a driving instructor) and on this day at approximately 10:35 I unfortunately drove over this unavoidable pothole (at reduced speed due to volume of traffic and a parked vehicle to the left kerbside) which duly damaged (see pics) my offside front tyre, a Falken that had only been on the vehicle 3weeks. This prevented me from proceeding to my lesson and having to cancel my next lesson also. This road honestly looks like a bomber has dropped its entire payload.
