Reported via desktop in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 12:58, Tuesday 21 April 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 12544.

Several potholes in the road, the road has deteriorated in recent months with the surface breaking up, the fragments are getting larger and it’s clear that the damage to the road surface is increasing. The council keep stating that funds are limited. The footpath near the tree has been marked but the road ignored? Clearly if routine maintenance is not carried out the final bill will be much larger because more of the road surface will need to be repaired? We continue to see increases in our taxes and nothing being done in our road. Do not close this report stating funds are limited and inform us when the works or maintenance is scheduled - surely there is a plan in place, these reports have been numerous and repeated to the council many many times. It’s not acceptable to simply state there are insufficient funds, the road needs to be repaired!
