Ampthill Road B530 junction with How End Turning
Reported via mobile in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 14:40, Tuesday 21 April 2026
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 12552.
The road markings are really poor, as we are now having to use this junction due to the other road into Houghton Conquest being closed it is very busy. Today 21st April there was nearly a serious accident when a car turned into How End from Bedford a car pulled out towards Bedford and did not see the motor cycle coming from Bedford. The double white lines are really faint for the turning which are part of the right turn from Ampthill. Could this junction be remarked to avoid an accident happening while the other road closure is in place.

Has the report been closed or is something going to be done about the road markings. It has been a month since I reported it.
