North side of Gamlingay road Potton 3 silted road gullies

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 13041.

Two more road gullys blocked with silt which is why all the water collects near the blocj=ked gulley opposite 24 / 26 Gamlingay road even after a limited amount of rainfall

    We plan to inspect the site during the next instance of significant rainfall, to allow a full assessment of the issue before any decision is made.

    Even when a gully is clean and well maintained it will only cope with a certain volume of water at one time, a sudden and heavy downpour can still cause flooding especially if the road is in a low-lying area, this generally clears away over a matter of hours.
