On Sutton Mill Road, opposite number 38

Tilia who are developing an housing estate on the land adjcent to Sutton Mill Road, Potton (CB/20/04672/FULL), drove heavy equipment (extendable fork lift truck) onto Bridleway 5 (also a private road for resident access only) today (12 May 26) and used it to remove 3 large fence posts along their site boundary whilst driving over the bridleway and verge. This blocked the road and bridleway and presented a hazard to any bridleway users. Tilia do not have right of access to their site from this section of Sutton Mill Road and do not have permission from the land owner to drive their vehicles on this bridleway. They intend to continue to operate along the bridleway throughout this week to remove more hoarding and posts.
