Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 13542.
The temporary repair (3/2/2026) to the 'pothole' has now disintegrated resulting in a very uneven surface. Added to this is the fact that this section of road has been resurfaced a number of times, culminating in a large section of uneven/crumbling road surface. There are large dips in the road surface and with each vehicle passing vehicle there is constant (due to volume of traffic) vibrations and excessive/unacceptable noise level. There is a major concern regarding potential damage to adjacent/adjoining property from vibrations, as vehicles pass over this stretch of road. All of my windows and doors shake as vehicles travel over this stretch of road. As this is a bus route, plus a high level of HGV's using it daily, the problem is escalating. There is also the risk to road users, especially those travelling at speed, who are at risk of losing control of their vehicle on this stretch of road. This stretch of road is crumbling and will eventually collapse.

Update on your report:
After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.
With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies
Many thanks,
