Start of bridleway at the end of Sandy Lane

Reported via desktop in the Spillages category anonymously at 15:06, Friday 15 May 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 13618.

Please pass on to the appropriate department. The lorry which is used to empty the dog waste bins at the entrance has, in the past, always parked on the highway and the operative walked the short distance to collect the waste and put it on the lorry. Since a change of operative the lorry has been reversed on the bridleway (which other waste collections do not do) and it is damaging the vegetation at the side of the bridleway, and compacting the soil, which may cause flooding issues. Please advise if the vehicle using the bridleway in this manner is in line with CBC policy. Thank you.
