End of alley way leading to park from Red lion close next to Holywell school
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14359.
At the end of path there is a post and gate stopping bikes getting in to park , 2m from the gate and post sticking up from ground is the Metal object that my father of 86 tripped up and ended up in AE Bedford with severe bruising, cut to his head , bruising on hand and fingers . It needs removing asap . The metal object looks like at one time it may of been a sign post , gate which wasn’t removed properly

Thank you for letting us know. We will carry out a site visit and also let the landowner know - who may be the Parish Council or the school

A site visit has been undertaken and the metal sprayed. This seems to be in the grass of the recreation ground rather than within the path which turns hard left after the kissing gate (see snip attached). We will contact the parish council who we believe manages this recreation ground.
