A6 Wilstead Hill https://w3w.co/banter.published.toward

Reported via mobile in the Obstructing visibility, footway, road, or sign category anonymously at 17:26, Friday 5 June 2026

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14495.

The trees are obscuring the sign warning of the entrance to Wilstead Hill Farm & parking northbound and it is dangerous as people scream up behind you when You are indicating left and slowing down, often they screech on brakes and overtake ignoring the double white lines . The signs on the southbound carriageway are also obscured and people do not realise you are turning right to Wilstead Hill Farm. There are 4 households here. The vegetation on the northbound carriageway needs to be trimmed way back to Improve visibility when trying to join the A6. People do not follow the speed limit when out of the range of the speed camera. A number of people have lost their lives at this junction and average speeds are increasing! This was reported last year but never actioned. Wasn’t too bad over winter as there were no leaves ! It is an issue now .
