Living above a row of shops, and the situation has become increasingly unacceptable. Bin collections are supposed to take place every Wednesday; however, this schedule is frequently not being followed. As a result, rubbish and food waste are left overflowing for extended periods.
There is no adequate storage space for the bin bags, meaning they are often left outside. These bags are regularly ripped open by foxes and birds, leaving rubbish scattered across the area. This creates an extremely unhygienic and unpleasant environment for residents and businesses alike.
The situation is particularly concerning because children play outside nearby. The accumulated waste presents both health and safety risks, and it is unfair for residents to have to live with these conditions.
Given the nature of the area and the lack of storage facilities, it is essential that bins are collected on every scheduled collection day without fail. Immediate action is needed to address this issue and prevent further deterioration of the area.

Update to my previous complaint regarding the ongoing waste and fly-tipping issues in the communal bin area.
The situation has now deteriorated further. The bins continue to overflow and rubbish bags have been ripped open, resulting in waste being scattered across the floor and spreading onto residents’ doorsteps. I do not appreciate having to come home to this mess directly outside my front door.
The accumulation of rubbish is attracting increasing numbers of birds and rodents, creating a serious hygiene issue. The area is becoming increasingly unsanitary and unpleasant for residents to live around.
What is particularly concerning is that children regularly play in this area and are expected to live amongst these conditions. It is unacceptable that families are being exposed to such an environment, especially when the risks to health and safety are so obvious.
Despite previous reports, the problem remains unresolved and continues to worsen. Immediate action is required to clear the waste, address the overflowing bins, and put measures in place to prevent this situation from recurring.
