A resident recently approached me aboit the trees and shrubs here that have not been maintained in this area for about 10 years. There is no maintenance record on the definitive map - CBC only cuts the grass. There's tree debris and broken branches, as well as overgrown shrubs and brambles all around the edge, which gets full of litter and bits of flytipping from neighbouring flats. The area is very oppressive, and dark at night time. Street lighting has little impact, and residents do not feel safe. These shrubs also grow through to private gardens. Can CBC please add the trees and shrubs to the maintenance schedule.
