I've just dug up a garden waste bagful of grass and weeds growing in the pavement, including all over the water meter covers, because great chunks of the pavement are missing and it's just mud. This whole stretch of pavement, all the way along the entire terrace is in a terrible state - broken and uneven, hazardous for pushchairs, prams and anyone less mobile. It's a narrow pavement anyway, so difficult to avoid the holes.
