"Thank you for the update and of course I understand that the cabinet is owned by CityFibre and installed under Permitted Development.

However, I am not raising a planning objection. I am reporting a possible hazardous obstruction to a highway visibility splay under Section 137/143 of the Highways Act 1980.

The physical placement of this cabinet on the public pavement has possibly created a vehicular blind spot for my driveway, meaning emerging drivers cannot see oncoming traffic. As the Local Highway Authority, the council has a statutory duty to ensure road safety. Please pass this urgently to a Highways Enforcement Officer to assess the safety hazard, rather than treating it as a planning matter." Thanks.
